Muneeza started changing her life because for almost 30 years she was really really sick. What she found was that by changing what she ate for breakfast, lunch and dinner, she changed her health (*within two weeks of changing her diet she didn’t need drugs she had been taking all her life), which changed her cellular metabolism and her genetic structure.
As she shed weight, old health patterns, she also shed old emotional patterns and literally feels like today she is different woman biologically than she was 6 years ago. Her number 1 tip is to eat the best food ever. Eat REAL food, not artificial, GMO, preservative, chemicalized crap. By eating real food, whether you are raw, vegetarian or regular meat/ fish eating folks, that is my number 1 tip… EAT REAL FOOD.
My second tip involves having a love affair, a deep passionate, hot, turns-you-on, orgasmic love affair. I know what you’re thinkin’, but stay with me. I’m talking about a love affair with your LIFE. When you treat everything in your life with love, and you seek out the things that bring you joy. I know, I know – you’re wondering how you’re going to do this with a job, kids, cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc.? Who the heck has time for ‘joy’?? Hey I’m right there with you. I own my own business, have a wonderful hubby and two kids, so I get it, but my daily cup of joy is more dear to me than my favourite food, drinks and even chocolate on the planet (although chocolate comes close, its like little pieces of joy in every bite).
Even if you did something you loved for 5 minutes a day and you spent your total attention enjoying and receiving pleasure from your activity for every second of those five minutes, you would slowly begin to change your bio-chemistry wiring for joy. You release oxytocin, the hormone that bonds us with our loved ones, makes us more attractive, makes us want more joy and believe it or not experiencing pleasure with oxytocin release is critical to our health. Particularly to women’s health. It helps balance out the rest of our hormones and when we are in a state of joy, our bodies are not in stress. Our whole biology functions better.
My third tip is in healing relationships. We all have relationships that need work. Finding ways to engage in relationships that uplevel our connection is one of the most fulfilling things we can do. Sometimes we go into resistance to clearing our blocks around relationships and people. I have had a long standing block with my mother. in 2011 I set an intention to clear that. It wasn’t fun all the way and she was pretty upset with me at times, but the reward of speaking my truth (after almost 20 years) is unmatched. I have more love and joy in my life because I was willing to risk upsetting someone else by speaking my truth.
Now I’m not saying all of you go out and rock the boat today – no no no, unless you are really called to do this. You can take it a step at a time. If your actions are not well received, go back to your intention and keep going, cos honestly, the ONLY thing that’s real in our world is the ability to love and love is ultimately the most healing energy on our planet. So I encourage you to go get your LOVE ON!!!
Oh and tip three and a half is for women: Go find the Goddess in you. The femininity. If you feel you are living in too much masculine energy, you are not going to be healthy. We are women. We are meant to be attractive. We are meant to complement men and their energy. We are nurturing, caretakers and in order to be the best nurturers and caretakers, who do we have to take care of first?? Yes, you’re right, US. Just like in the airplanes, you put your own oxygen mask on FIRST. We have to fill our cups to overflow, so have something to give others. If we are half full, we got nothing to give, even if we are full to the brim, we still have nothing EXTRA to give… its when we overflow that we are naturally in a state of giving and our intentions are fulfilled effortlessly.
